Transfer fuel oil to main and auxiliary engines and main and auxiliary boilers or pumps for loading, unloading, and transportation of fuel oil. The pump that pumps fuel from the fuel tank to the daily fuel tank is the fuel transfer pump; the pump that pumps fuel from the daily fuel tank to the main and auxiliary boilers or the main and auxiliary engines is the boiler fuel pump or the fuel supply pump.
