HSM Double-Suction Axially Split Casing Pumps

Introduction:

The HSM series of centrifugal pumps have single stage double suction impellers arranged either horizontal or vertically. Pump casing is level split type. The impeller is single double suction type and conforms to API610 standard.

Structural Features:

Pump casing is level split. Suction and discharge pipes are arranged in the bottom of bottom of casing and appeared in pipeing type. The pump is carried on maintenance and overhaul without disturbing pipework and motor, taking out the rotor and replacing the parts.

The rolling bearings run in oil lubricating. The non drive end bearing which also accommodates any residual axial thrusts from the hydraulically balanced impeller. The sealing of pimp shaft is effected by the stuffing or mechanical seals and the shaft sleeves fully protect the shaft in the waterway right up to the impeller hub. The shaft can be overturn to allow the pump to be driven from either side. Falnges are normally to ANSI or HG standards.

The pump ratation direction is CW viewing from the driven end.
